ONE LESS

50 words
Plastic trash swirls
near the pond.
I try to grab it,
but it loops, twists,
rockets past me
ZOOP!
“Get back here!”
I sprint across the park
past the swings
over the sandbox
“Stay still!”
Wind whooshes, then
SCHOOP!
Finally, I trap it under my foot,
“Goodbye, trash!”
One less.
